Streamlabs Desktop script functions

Functions for C# (Cb.Call) and Python (cb.call). See Script functions for how to use them.

slobs.call

Sends any Remote Control command to Streamlabs Desktop and gives back its answer. For advanced users. Fails with an error when Streamlabs Desktop is not connected.

Value What to put in
resource The part of Streamlabs Desktop to talk to, like "ScenesService" or "StreamingService". Needed.
method The command name, like "getScenes" or "toggleStreaming". Needed.
args Optional. A list of values the command needs, like ["Gameplay"].

Gives back: Streamlabs Desktop's answer for that command.

var answer = await Cb.Call("slobs.call", new { resource = "ScenesService", method = "getScenes" });
answer = cb.call("slobs.call", resource="ScenesService", method="getScenes")

slobs.isConnected

Checks whether Cuebot is connected to Streamlabs Desktop right now. Use it before slobs.call to skip the call when Streamlabs Desktop is closed.

Gives back: true when it is connected, otherwise false.

var answer = await Cb.Call("slobs.isConnected");
answer = cb.call("slobs.isConnected")
