Webhooks script functions

Functions for C# (Cb.Call) and Python (cb.call). See Script functions for how to use them.

webhooks.sendTestEvent

Pretends a webhook service sent an event, like a Ko-fi donation, so you can test your triggers and alerts. Nothing is sent to the service.

Value What to put in
service The service: "kofi", "patreon", "fourthwall", "shopify", "throne" or "custom".
kind Optional. Which test event, like "donation" for Ko-fi. webhooks.status lists them as testKinds. Leave it out for the first one.

Gives back: true when a test event was sent, false when the service or kind is unknown.

var answer = await Cb.Call("webhooks.sendTestEvent", new { service = "kofi", kind = "donation" });
answer = cb.call("webhooks.sendTestEvent", service="kofi", kind="donation")

webhooks.status

Shows each webhook service (Ko-fi, Patreon and so on): whether it is set up, turned on, and how the last delivery went.

Gives back: A list. Each service has service, name, configured, enabled, lastDelivery (a time), lastOutcome and testKinds.

var answer = await Cb.Call("webhooks.status");
answer = cb.call("webhooks.status")
