The Chat page

Chat > Chat shows the chat of every platform you are signed in to, in one list.

  1. Type in the box at the bottom and press Enter (or click Send) to write in chat. The list next to it picks where it goes: one platform, or all connected ones.
  2. Click a message to see what you can do with it: Reply, Delete message, Timeout 1 min, Timeout 10 min, or ban the person (click once, then again to confirm).
  3. In the send box, type : for emotes, or /help for the slash commands.
  4. The chat options let you show emotes as pictures (also from 7TV, BTTV and FFZ), show pronouns, colour messages that mention your name or come from first-time chatters, and add quick action buttons that run an action.
  5. The Activity tab lists follows, subs, raids, tips and other events.

Want the chat inside OBS? The HTTP server gives you a chat dock and an event dock.

The Settings page

  • General: Show an icon in the system tray (ticked at first) keeps Cuebot next to the clock. Closing the window keeps Cuebot running in the tray hides it instead of closing it. Start minimized starts it hidden. Theme picks light, dark (the first choice), or System (the same as your computer).
  • Profiles: your personas, each with its own accounts, mods and everything else. Make, rename, recolour, switch and delete them here. See More than one persona (profiles).
  • Audio & text: pick the Output devices (speakers) and Input devices (microphones) Cuebot may use. Culture sets how numbers and dates look, like 1,000.5 or 1.000,5.
  • Backups and Google Drive: see Backups and Backups on Google Drive.
  • About: your Cuebot version and where your data folder is. Open opens the data folder. It also lists the startup switches (see Command-line options) and every keyboard shortcut.

On your phone

The phone app, Cuebot Companion, is not a page in Cuebot, but it shows a lot of the same things. It has four tabs: Deck (your deck buttons), Dashboard (connections, quick actions, subathon timers, goals and top spenders), Mods (changes your mods ask you to approve, and the mod portals you help with) and Settings. Pair it on Apps > Servers, under Pair a phone. See The phone app.
